On December 16, 2024 my family and I experienced a fire that destroyed our entire home. We were completely devastated and had no idea what to do or where to start. We made the absolute best decision in having Sunpoint represent us. They immediately got to work, helped us find a place to live, conducted their own inventories, and handled everything directly with the insurance and restoration company, while keeping us updated. Insurance tries to underpay and restoration companies are just trying to capitalize off your claim and I can't express enough how blessed we have been to have JOHN HARTSHORN on our side! He is the only one that is there for YOU! He increased our final rebuild settlement over 600k from the original offer and increased our personal property amount. After almost two years we are finally back in our home and John is still prompt at responding to our questions, emails, and is still working on submitting some of our supplemental claims. On March 27, 2024, my family experienced a devastating 4-alarm house fire. Inside the home were myself, my son, my two grandchildren, and my parents who are both over 80 years old. By the grace of God, none of us were physically injured, but mentally and emotionally, the experience has been exhausting, traumatic, and life-changing. This was not just a house. My parents had this home custom built in 1983, and my father himself was the general contractor. Decades of memories, love, and legacy were tied to that home. The fire displaced our family for over two years, and having never experienced a tragedy of this magnitude, we truly had no idea how to navigate the insurance process, restoration process, or how to ensure we were properly represented. Our place flooded while we were out of town and our insurance claim was denied. I reached out and Jay was quick to respond and visit in order to see if they could assist. He was professional yet caring and did everything he could to help us assess the situation. Communication was prompt and efficient. We lost our home, contents, workshop, trees and landscaping to a recent California Wildfire.  It's been a tough couple of years but I'm happy to report that we have rebuilt and are back in our new furnished home!  We couldn't have done it without the SunPoint Public Adjuster team led by Jim Bledsoe and Megan Neal.  These folks have institutional knowledge and passion that level the playing field, that force the insurance company to respond and address the full scope and cost of covered damages.
