SunPoint came to my rescue when my son's house burned down in a different state than the one I live in, and I learned what is involved in managing a large insurance claim from afar.  (My son is disabled, so it fell to me to figure this out.) Yowie!  So many various insurance adjusters calling for cost information and records-- all lost in the fire.  Too many spinning plates to keep track of.  I couldn't do it all, when, thankfully, one of the insurance adjusters said, "Don't quote me, but you need a public adjuster." SunPoint was in the hotel lobby within 24 hours after I called them.  They explained the process, and set about taking all the communications with the insurer off my plate.  They took pictures of my son's ruined house; they held the insurer's feet to the fire-- pardon the pun-- and made sure that the claims accurately represented and described the items and the structures that were lost. Hugely importantly, they moved the claims process along.  SunPoint speaks insurance, so they knew where and when to press matters. I really cannot imagine-- really cannot-- how I could have done this without SunPoint. A final gift from SunPoint was to find me a local contractor in my son's city who works with his insurer to rebuild the house within the limits of the insurance payout. I called several public adjuster firms and Greg Clifford at Sun Point is the only person who took the time to listen to me and answer my questions. Greg went above and beyond by taking time out of his day to help me understand my claim. Greg also walked me through several examples of arguments I can make against my insurance company who is trying to not pay me for the fair value of my property.  Greg is terrific. Our Dental office suffered a catastrophic water loss from tenant units above.  Our insurance company was delaying and minimizing the loss while our business had to shutdown from these damages.  I needed help and retained SunPoint Public Adjusters.  It was the best decision I could have made.  SunPoint quickly built the team, evaluated the loss and engaged the insurance company.   My lead adjuster was Jim Bledsoe at SunPoint.  Jim was very knowledgeable, proactive and an excellent communicator whose well written letters forced the insurance company to take the loss seriously.  The SunPoint Team was talented and experienced.  Steve Miller the SunPoint Forensic Accountant did an outstanding job addressing the loss of Business Income, Extra Expense and getting us temporarily set up in a new location. SunPoint Business Personal Property Specialist Kevin Grace needs to be acknowledged too for the tedious work in itemizing and documenting the extensive damaged Business Personal Proepty.
