Gary has a long history in the Insurance world. Starting directly out of college he spent 5 years as an Independent Adjuster with Toplis & Harding travelling throughout North and South America adjusting major commercial and institutional losses.
After learning the industry, he made the easy decision to become an advocate for policyholders. Gary spent the next 36 years with a large West Coast Public Adjusting firm rising to the rank of President and later Co- Chairman of the Board. His duties covered every aspect of running the company, but his passion has always been the claims process and advocating. He has represented clients ranging from homeowners to Fortune 500 companies. Whether it be a fire, hurricane, earthquake, tsunami or any other imaginable disaster Gary has been at the forefront of claims and the industry.
After 41 years Gary decided a change was needed. He joined Sunpoint Public Adjusters, Inc. as a Director and as the acting COO. His duties are not limited to any facet of the company, but his focus is on maintaining the Gold Standard he helped create in this industry. We could not ask for a more seasoned, experienced team member.
He is a recognized expert in the industry, a court approved expert on First-Party Property and Casualty Claims, Adjusting Practices and Bad Faith Issues. He is an Umpire and Appraiser for “Formal” and “Informal” Appraisals under First-Party policies.
His resume of clients is reflective of his ability. Claiming everyone from Barbara Streisand to Kareem Abdul Jabbar, and from auto shops to the Federal Governments as his past engagements and friends, Gary is truly a leader in his field. (CV available upon request).
